Draft Cost Feasible Plan

In early 2020, we gathered input through multiple public meetings and a survey asking about how you thought specific transportation needs should be prioritized. Your feedback helped prioritize goals like safety and environmental preservation. Now, we’ve developed a Cost Feasible Plan, which allocates dollars to various roadway, safety, pedestrian/bicycle, and transit projects in Brevard County.

The Cost Feasible plan lists a balance of prioritized project costs with estimates of transportation funding over the next 25 years. Now, we’re asking public citizens to review the DRAFT Cost Feasible Plan and provide any comments related to the projects in the Plan. Check out the PDF of the Draft Cost Feasible Plan below:

To provide comments on the Draft Cost Feasible Plan, please contact Steven Bostel at steven.bostel@brevardfl.gov. The comment period will be open for 30 days, ending July 19th, 2020.

Our staff and consultants will next present the Draft Cost Feasible Plan, which will include any public comments/feedback, at the next Technical and Citizens Advisory Committee Meeting (7/6/20) and the SCTPO Governing Board Meeting (7/9/20). The Final Cost Feasible Plan will be presented for adoption in September 2020.
